The City of Miami, in collaboration with community stakeholders, established the Neighborhood Revitalization District-2 (NRD-2) to guide development while preserving the area’s diverse character. This initiative encourages mixed-use development, affordable housing, and public benefits like parks and micro-retail spaces. As a result, Wynwood Norte is experiencing a surge in new residential and commercial projects, attracting artists, entrepreneurs, and families seeking an urban lifestyle with a strong sense of community.

The area within the Wynwood Norte boundary is 10% of the total urban core in Miami.
